Fujairah's hotel offering focuses mainly on mid- to high-end establishments. Most of these are luxury beachfront resorts, which form the backbone of the local tourism industry. These establishments generally offer comprehensive facilities, including private beaches, diving centres, spas and multiple restaurants. International chains such as Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental and Fairmont have established a presence in the emirate, attracting an international clientele seeking relaxation on the Gulf of Oman.
The mid-range hotel segment has also grown, particularly in downtown Fujairah. These three- and four-star establishments cater mainly to business travellers and tourists on a moderate budget. They offer standard services without the elaborate beach facilities of the larger resorts.
Rental villas are also a rapidly growing segment in Fujairah, particularly popular with Emirati families and residents of Dubai and Sharjah for weekend getaways. Located by the sea or facing the Hajar Mountains, these properties offer private swimming pools, fully equipped kitchens and generous living spaces. Organised into residential complexes or managed individually by agencies, they also attract an international clientele seeking an authentic experience and excellent value for money for large groups and families.
